This Privacy Policy explains how AO Luxor ("AO Luxor," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit aoluxorwealthmgmt.com, submit a quote request, or communicate with one of our licensed agents.

AO Luxor is a licensed insurance agency. We help people compare and apply for life insurance, final expense, and supplemental benefit products. We are not an insurance carrier and we do not underwrite policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete a quote request form we collect the information you enter, which includes:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your mobile telephone number
• Your state of residence
• The type of coverage you are interested in
• The time of day you prefer to be contacted

If you continue into an application, the insurance carrier's application will request additional information — which may include date of birth, address, health history, beneficiary details, and, where the carrier requires it for underwriting or policy issuance, a Social Security number. We do not require a Social Security number or run a credit check in order to give you a quote.

Consent records

When you submit a form we also record the details that establish what you agreed to: the date and time of submission, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the page URL, whether you checked the SMS consent box, and the exact wording of the consent disclosure displayed to you at that moment. We keep this record so that we can demonstrate, if ever asked, precisely what you consented to and when.

Information collected automatically

Our server logs standard request information such as IP address, user-agent, referring page, and timestamps. This site does not use third-party advertising trackers, does not load external fonts or scripts from other domains, and does not set advertising cookies.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Contact you about the quote request you submitted, by telephone and email
• Prepare quotes and, where applicable, submit applications to insurance carriers on your behalf
• Send you text messages, only if you affirmatively opted in to receive them
• Answer your questions and provide ongoing service on a policy placed through us
• Maintain records required by insurance regulators, by carriers, and by telecommunications and consumer protection law
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse of this website, including automated form submissions
• Improve the website and our service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

Mobile Messaging and SMS Consent

How opt-in works

Text messaging from AO Luxor is entirely optional. The SMS consent checkbox on our quote form is unchecked by default, and you can submit the form and receive a quote without ever checking it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, of receiving a quote, or of working with one of our agents.

If you do check the box, you are agreeing to receive SMS text messages from AO Luxor at the mobile number you provided, including messages about coverage options, appointment scheduling, and follow-up from a licensed agent.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply — these are charges from your own mobile carrier, not from AO Luxor. AO Luxor does not charge you for text messages.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out of text messages at any time. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. Reply HELP to any message to receive help and our contact information. You may also opt out by calling (586) 222-6213 or emailing justin@aoluxor.com.

Opting out of text messages does not withdraw your quote request and does not affect your ability to speak with an agent by telephone or email.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and to the capabilities of your device.

How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

• Insurance carriers and their underwriting departments — to obtain quotes, to submit an application you have asked us to submit, and to service a policy placed through us.
• Service providers that operate our systems on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our customer relationship management system. These providers may process the information only to perform services for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
• Professional advisors and regulators — our legal and accounting advisors, and state insurance regulators, where required.
• Legal compliance — where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AO Luxor or others.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the information transferred.

Each of the categories of sharing described above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Your mobile number and your SMS consent record are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstance.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We keep quote request information for as long as we have an active relationship with you and afterward for as long as needed to comply with our legal, regulatory, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.

SMS consent records — including the timestamp, IP address, and the exact consent language you were shown — are retained for at least four years after the consent is given or withdrawn, in line with the federal statute of limitations applicable to telephone consumer protection claims. We keep these records specifically so that we can prove the consent decision you actually made.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know and access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.
• Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to the exceptions below.
• Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of; the right is stated here for completeness.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Residents of other states with comparable laws have substantially similar rights.

To make a request, email justin@aoluxor.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," or call (586) 222-6213. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

One exception worth stating plainly: where we are legally required to retain a record — most importantly a record of SMS consent or of an insurance transaction — we will retain that record even after a deletion request, and we will tell you that we have done so and why. We will not use a retained consent record for any purpose other than demonstrating compliance.

Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct any marketing to children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at justin@aoluxor.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS across the entire site), restricted access to systems that hold lead and consent data, and off-site backups of our consent records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide more prominent notice. Changes to how we handle mobile information or SMS consent will never be applied retroactively to consent you have already given.
